Winter Trimester Growth Groups
(February – April)
You may sign up for Growth Groups over the next 3 weeks by using the Contact Form at right, the communication card in church or through the Next Step Café that is located in between the children’s area and the Welcome Desk. If you have questions, you may ask at the café or contact the Growth Group Team Captain, Ann Livernois @ annlivernois@sbcglobal.net
A. DYC/DYM Growth Group Leader: Bill Blue Time & Location: 6:33 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Youth Center. We will be covering the materials offered in the Discover Your Church (DYC) and Discover Your Ministry (DYM) seminars, with much more digging and interaction. Cost will be $10 and we will start on 2/3.
B. Starting Point Leader: Josh Willard Time & Location: 11:15 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on Sundays, in the Youth Center. This exciting new growth group is for those curious about God and Christianity, those who are new Christians, and those who have some church background but have been away for a while. The cost will be $15. Starts 2/7.
C. Adult Bible Study Leader: Ann Livernois Time and Location: Sundays, 9:45 a.m. in room 4 of Children’s wing. This group during the month of February will be discussing Pastor Tim’s series on the ‘One Another’s’ in the Bible. Starts 2/7.
D. Seniors Bible Study Leaders: Dick and Mary Hutchins Time and Location: Sundays, 9:45 a.m., room 6 in the Children’s wing. This group does an in-depth Bible study and prayer.
E. Celebrate Recovery Leaders: Terry & Diane Folts Time and Location: 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesdays, 6 - 7pm fellowship in Youth Center, 7-8 p.m. Testimony & Lesson in Worship Center, 8-9 p.m. Small Groups in Children’s wing. (Men & Women separated). Healing for hurts, hang-ups & habits, childcare for up to age 11, no sign up necessary, just show up! Ongoing.
F. First Place For Health Leaders: Dora Smith & Sandy Alchin Time and Location: Wednesdays 6:30 - 8pm in room #5 of the Children’s wing. This group is a Bible study that focuses on living healthy through God. Orientation will be on 2/17 & the first class will be 3/17 if there is enrollment. For 3 weeks starting on 2/24 we will be repeating sessions 2-5 of Never Give Up by Joyce Meyers, open to all who are interested. Contact Dora for more information at 521-3246.
G. Knowing HIM Leader: Bill Blue Time and Location: Sundays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:24 p.m., room 3 & 4, in the youth center. This group will begin an in-depth Bible study on the life of Christ. Cost: $5. Starts 2/7.
H. Purpose Driven Men I Leader: Scott Schultheis Time and Location: Thursdays, 6 – 7 a.m. at Docusen’s Café. PDMI spends time in Bible study and prayer, over coffee. Starts 2/4.
I. Purpose Driven Men II Leader: Jeff Limonoff Time and Location: Fridays, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Docusen’s Café. PDMII spends time in Bible study and prayer, over coffee. Starts 2/5.
J. Women of Grace Leaders: Linda Campbell and Ann Wilson. Time & Location: Mondays 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Starts in Feb.
K. Ladies Tuesday Night Bible Study Leader: Sarah Wylie Time & Location: Every other Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the church library. This group during the month of February will be discussing Pastor Tim’s series on the ‘One Another’s’ in the Bible. After February they will be studying the book of Matthew. Starts 2/2.
L. Julie’s Group Leader: Julie Willard Times and Location: Sundays, 10 a.m. in Pastor Jeff’s office, right off the Main Office. They are currently reading the Ragamuffin Gospel, written by Brennan Manning.
M. Mom Chat Leader: Dee Wright Times and Locations: Sundays 6:30 – 8 p.m. in room 4 of the Children’s wing, just moms and Thursdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the nursery, children welcome. A time for moms to learn together, encourage each other, and have fun together. Join Sunday anytime; Thursday group is in the middle of a study but all are welcome.
N. Moms in Touch Leader: Joan Schaefer Time and Location: 9:15 a.m., Wednesdays, in the church nursery. This group focuses on praying for our children and school district.
O. Young At Heart Leader: Isabel Simmons Time and Location: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. @ Isabel’s home. This group is designed for women over the age of 55 to study the Bible and grow together. For directions and information, please contact Delene at 521-4343.
P. The Mom Connection Leader: Kelly Grimm This group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity to meet outside of church to exchange ideas and meet a new friend. Group meets at different homes each month. Contact Kelly at 223-5957.
