Summer Trimester Growth Groups
(June — August)
- Are you looking for a way to connect with others at the U.B.?
- Do you want to deepen your relationship with Jesus through Bible study, prayer, support, and accountability?

TAKE YOUR NEXT STEP AND SIGN UP FOR A GROWTH GROUP!
There are 3 ways to sign up for a
Growth Group:
#1: Use the Communication card in the church bulletin on Sundays.
#2: Sign up in the Next Step Café.
#3: Sign up using the church
web-site, www.fubc.net.
A. Seniors Bible Study; Leaders: Dick and Mary Hutchins
Time and location: Sundays, 9:30 a.m., room 6 in the children’s wing. This group does an in-depth bible study and prayer.
B. Adult Bible Study; Leader: Ann Livernois
Time and location: Sundays, 9:45 a.m. in room 4 of the children’s wing. This group will be digging into the Old Testament book or Micah!
C. Going Fishing with Jesus — Sunday; Co-leaders: Mike Dietz and Eric Haglund.
Time and location: Sundays, 9:45 a.m. in room 2 of the Youth Center. Directly following Jesus’ challenge to, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”, Jesus took His followers on 6 separate fishing expeditions. We will be studying each of these events to better understand Jesus and our response to Him. Cost: $25 for a manual or $5 for handouts.
D. Going Fishing with Jesus — Wednesday; Leader: Bill Blue
Time and
location: Each Wednesday from 7 – 8:27 p.m. in the Youth Center. All of the
details are the same as the Sunday study. We will be designing both Sunday and
Wednesday studies to be on the same chapter, so that if you are gone on a
particular class, you can catch up by attending the other class.
E. Women of Grace; Leaders: Ann Wilson
& Linda Campbell
Time and
location: Mondays from 7-9 p.m.
in the church fellowship hall. Topic: ‘Here And Now…There And Then’ by Beth
Moore. This is a lecture series on the book of Revelation and has minimal
homework…perfect for the summer!

Time and location:
The first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., in the church library. The summer
topic will be the book of Proverbs.
Time and location: Class meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in room 5 of the children’s wing. Class will start on July 7th and run through Sept. 8th. Details: You do not need to order a book to attend. But, the deadline to order books is June 15th. Workbooks cost $10 and the Love Revolution book and workbook costs $20. H. Knuckle Heads Thursday (Intentional Living for Regular Dudes); Leader: Scott Schultheis
Time and location: Each Thursday from 6 – 7 a.m. at Docusen's
Café across from the old IGA. This group will be studying a book for the
summer.
Time and location: Each Friday from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Docusen’s Café across from the old IGA. This group will be studying a book of the bible for the summer.
J. Celebrate Recovery Leaders: Terry & Diane Folts
Time and Location: 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays. 6-7 p.m. Fellowship in the Youth Center from 6-7 p.m. followed by Testimony & Lesson in Worship Center from 7-8 p.m. and Small Groups in the children’s wing from 8-9 p.m.. (men & women separated). Healing for hurts, hang-ups & habits. There is childcare available for up to age 11. No sign up is necessary, just show up! Ongoing.
